The main entrance of German electronics retailer Saturn’s brand new flagship store in Cologne is home to a transparent LED video wall, courtesy of digital signage company MIB. Not much has been revealed about the hardware, except that the wall is 3m² in size and hung 8m in the air.
MIB’s Jörg Preuss explained the benefits of the wall’s transparency: “Sunlight continues to reach through the glass front into the premises. In addition, you can see the content inside the building through the reflecting windows,” he said.
