Taiwanese touch panel manufacturer TPK Holdings reported a 34% year on year fall in sales in February to NT$7.3 billion ($231.7 million), though this was almost 4% higher than January. So far this year, TPK’s sales have reached NT$18.3 billion ($580.7 million).
Sources suggest that TPK will benefit this year from orders from Apple for its much-anticipated Apple Watch, as well as potentially supplying touch panels for the next generation of Apple’s iPhone 6.
