Toshiba’s Satellite laptop range has seen a significant expansion, with 12 new models in the Satellite L50-B, L50D-B (15.6″) and L70-B (17.3″) lines.
The 15.6″ models are 23.5mm thick and weigh 2.2kg. The 17.3″ models are desktop replacements, at 29mm thick and 2.7kg. GPUs vary depending on the model; some use discrete AMD Radeon chips and others are built with integrated Intel HD devices. Intel/AMD CPUs can also be chosen. Select models feature Intel WiDi and Miracast.
Toshiba lists the L50-B and L50D-B as different models (1V9, 1V6, 1V5 and 1V2 for the L50-B; 167, 168, 169 and 13J for the L50D-B), but the only difference is in chassis colour.
