Toshiba Europe GmbH today announced two new additions to its portfolio of business displays. The next generation of the TD-E3 series and the new TD-P3 series consist of clear and effective displays for business customers in a wide range of industries. The new TD-E3 series is perfect for use during business hours and provides the highest functionality 16 hours a day, seven days a week. The TD-P3 series is ideally suited for companies that need 24/7 digital advertising. This guarantees a robust and reliable permanent display.
Expansion of the TD-E3 series: versatile use in a wide range of industries
The TD-E3 series has been specifically designed for the corporate, education, retail and travel sectors.With five sizes from 32 inches to 65 inches, the series provides configurations for any space requirement. Since the models allow for use in both landscape and portrait mode, the user can present content according to their wishes and are highly flexible. Much of the displays in this series have a high-quality Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) resolution. For an even sharper image, the 65-inch model will also be available as an Ultra HD (3.840 x 2.160) variant. This results in an even better image with a 4K image resolution.
New TD-P3 series – designed for reliable operation around the clock
The new TD-P3 series is perfect for companies that need reliable and high-quality equipment for their advertising messages around the clock, providing continuous performance seven days a week, 24 hours a day. The models of this series are available in four inch sizes between 43 and 75 inches and with Full HD resolution (1,920 x 1,080). The 75 inch version is even equipped with Ultra HD resolution (3.840 x 2.160). The brightness is 400 cd / m2 and allows a clear and high-quality display of the displayed contents at any time.
Easy to use and a variety of ports
The menu management of both series is extremely user-friendly, easy to understand and effective at the same time. Both the TD-E3 series and the TD-E3 series have a variety of inputs and outputs. The special arrangement of the connections on the display by so-called tiling or daisy-chaining allows various combinations when connecting several displays to one another. This allows users to create innovative and appealing multicreen arrangements that are perfectly tailored to their needs.
In both new model series also a Toshiba USB-Player is integrated, which guarantees a playback over the secured USB connection. The displays are individualizable and can be customized – not least thanks to the USB player – according to the customer’s requirements: The player supports multi-codec, for example, and has various options for providing the displays with their own company logo.This allows the logo to be set directly at the startup or displayed in place of the Toshiba logo to ensure that the display fully reflects the user’s brand.
In addition, the ability to play wirelessly (wireless display) ensures that content can be viewed easily and remotely. This makes it possible to install and operate the displays in all public areas or work environments without direct access. The TD-E3 series also includes extra tools to further simplify the management of the content shown, such as a content scheduler. In addition, the installed OPS slot allows the installation of an OPS-based device. This simplifies operation, since external PCs, cables and power supplies are no longer required.
The TD-E3 and TD-P3 series will be available in Europe from spring 2017 onwards.
