Toshiba has installed new Ultra HD digital signage at Oracle Arena in Oakland, California.
The company’s LED ribbon displays stream in-game team and player statistics in UHD, while the digital signage within the arena also spotlights upcoming games, concerts and special events while streaming sponsor advertisements in 56 x 1840 resolution. A nearly 3′ (0.9m) wide 360° ribbon display splits the sports and entertainment venue’s upper and lower decks and stretches 950′ (290m) around the arena’s perimeter.
Toshiba’s digital signage also encircles the top and bottom of the arena’s main scoreboard above center court with 2′ (0.6m) wide ribbons. The scoreboard’s upper ribbon display streams information in 40 x 1840 resolution and is 96′ (29m) long. Meanwhile, the ribbon display on the lower section of the scoreboard is 50′ (15.2m) long and streams in 40 x 960 resolution.
