Top U.S. pay TV Operators Lose 665,000 Subscribers

A report by Leichtman Research Group, Inc. (LRG) has found that pay-TV providers with the largest market share in the U.S. in terms of subscribers, lost about 665,000 net video subscribers in Q2″16. Q2 15 saw the providers lose 545,000 subscribers. The pay-TV providers have 93.75 million subscribers, with the top six cable companies accounting for 48.9 million video subscribers and satellite TV companies having 34 million subscribers. Top telephone companies account for 10.8 million subscribers.
