Paul PengThere have been changes at the top level of AUO. Chairman Paul Peng is to resign from his concurrent position as president of the company, and assume the role of CEO. Michael Tsai will become AUO’s new president and COO. Additionally, Andy Yang will move from his current role as CFO and become chief strategy officer, while Benjamin Tseng (currently associate VP of finance) will take over the CFO position. These changes will come into effect on the 1st November.
Two executives have also been promoted to lead AUO’s display business groups. Wei-Lung Liao (VP of the video solutions technology unit) will become head of the Video Solutions business group. Sean Chen (senior associate VP) will be promoted to VP and head the Mobile Solutions business group.
