Too Tipsy to Stand? No Problem at Wales’ iPub

The Wesbourne pub in South Wales is using iPads to cut queue times – by letting drinkers serve themselves. The tablets are fixed to tables and linked to self-service taps, which can be operated by scanning a special card. Customers can also use the iPads to order other drinks and snacks from the bar, without leaving their seat (because if there’s one thing a barfly needs, it’s an excuse to sit down – TA).
