Tianma NLT USA, the name for the new combined business of Tianma in the USA (Tianma Merges US Subsidiaries), has introduced six new 5.7″ LCD modules for industrial display applications.
The displays primarily vary in their resolution and brightness. Four have 640 x 480 resolution (NL6448AC18-11D; NL6448AC18-12F; NL6448AC18-08F; NL6448AC18-08D) and two have 320 x 240 (NL3224AC36-01F and NL3224AC36-01D).
All models are interchangeable, as they use the same module outline and mounting hole positions. They can be operated in -30° – 80° temperatures and feature a built-in LED driver board. They share 160° viewing angles and a 900:1 contrast ratio. All use a CMOS interface aside from the NL6448AC18-11D, which is LVDS.
Each of the NL6448AC18 units will resist vibrations up to 6.8G. They are available with 550 cd/m² (NL6448AC18-11D and NL6448AC18-08D) or 800 cd/m² of brightness. The -12F unit can also be used in portrait mode.
The NL3224AC36-01F and NL3224AC36-01D are the same as the higher-resolution units, but are not vibration-resistant. The -01F unit has 550 cd/m² of brightness and the -01D unit has 800 cd/m².
Tianma showed off these new modules at Ceatec in Japan this week.
