Bang & Olufsen announced its 3Q2018 results with 10% increase in revenue growth and improved profitability. Group revenue for the 3Q2017/18 was $147.05 million (DKK 865 million), compared to the revenue of $133.62 million (DKK 786 million) in 3Q2016/17. Increase in 3Q2018 revenue was attributed to 25% growth in revenue of B&O PLAY business unit, focused cost and operational improvements.
Henrik Clausen, CEO of Bang & Olufsen, said that they are pleased with the progress made in first three quarters and expects to perform the same in fourth quarter of 2018.
