The US Projector Market Remains Competitive and Dynamic

PMA Research has released its latest findings on top-selling projectors across various categories. In the Home Entertainment Projectors segment, LG emerged as the leader with its HU710PB CineBeam Q model taking the top spot. Samsung followed closely with its Freestyle Gen 2, and Optoma also secured a position in the top five. ViewSonic made a notable impact by placing two of its models, the PX701-4K and PX748-4K, among the top performers, showcasing its strong foothold in the home entertainment market.

In the B2B Laser Projectors category, particularly for those with 5,000 lumens or higher in the normal/semi-throw range, Panasonic led with its PT-VMZ51 model. Epson displayed a strong performance with three of its models—PowerLite L635SU, L530U, and L520U—dominating the list. Sony’s VPL-PHZ51 also featured among the best-sellers, highlighting its relevance in the professional AV market.

For Installation Projectors with Interchangeable Lenses, Epson again demonstrated its market strength, occupying three positions on the top five list with its EB-PU1008, EB-PU1007, and EB-PU2010 models. NEC and Panasonic also made significant contributions to this segment, with their models rounding out the top five.
