These terms and conditions and our Privacy Policy govern your use of the website and your relationship with Meko Ltd. Please read them carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under the law. By accessing the website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Using this website indicates that you accept these terms regardless of whether or not you choose to register with us or order from us. If you do not accept these terms, do not continue to use this website.


1.1. You will be able to access most areas of this website without registering your details with us. Certain areas of this website are only open to you if you register.

1.2. We may revise these terms and conditions at any time by updating these terms and conditions on the website. The changes will apply to the website after this posting. If you do not wish to accept any new terms and conditions after we have given notice, you should not continue to use this website.


2.1. You are deemed to place an order with us by ordering via our online checkout process. As part of our checkout process you will be given the opportunity to check your order and to correct any errors. We will send you an order acknowledgement, detailing the products you have ordered. By placing an order, you are stating that you are legally able to place orders and have the authority to do so.

2.2. Our acceptance of an order takes place when we confirm the order. We will send you a confirmation by email. The purchase contract will be made when your order is accepted. You will become liable for payment, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order. Payment options will be given upon checkout.


3.1. All prices include VAT (where applicable) at the current rates. We reserve the right to express the price exclusive of VAT, but we shall show VAT separately and include it in the total price.

3.2. Where you are able to quote a valid EU VAT number, so that VAT can be zero-rated, you must provide this number when requested. Otherwise, VAT will be charged at the current rates.


4.1. We will deliver subscriptions ordered by you throughout the subscription period.

4.2. If goods are ordered these will be supplied to the address given by you either immediately or, if pre-ordered, as soon as available.

4.3. If the order is for attendance at an event, this must be prepaid. Should you are unable to attend, cancellation must be made prior to the event in accordance with the terms for the individual event.


5.1. If the goods we deliver are not what you ordered or are damaged or defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us in writing at our contact address of the problem within 10 working days of the delivery of the goods in question.

5.2. If you do not attend an event (no-show), we have no liability unless you have cancelled prior to the event in accordance with event terms.


6.1. Orders for goods can only be cancelled providing notice is received two days prior to despatch.

6.2. If you wish to cancel a subscription, a month’s notice must be given. A refund may be applicable for unused whole months.

6.3. Cancellation must be made prior to any event in accordance with the terms for the individual event.


7.1. You are permitted to print and download extracts from this website for your own use on the following basis:

(a) no documents or related graphics on this website are modified in any way;

(b) no graphics on this website are used separately from accompanying text; and

(c) it is is not published or distributed elsewhere, except with express permission of Meko Ltd.


8.1. You may not use the website for any of the following purposes:

disseminating any unlawful, harassing, libellous, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene or otherwise objectionable material

transmitting material that encourages conduct that constitutes a criminal offence, results in civil liability or otherwise breaches any relevant laws, regulations or code of practice

interfering with any other person’s use or enjoyment of the site

breaching any laws concerning the use of public telecommunications networks

interfering or disrupting networks or websites connected to the site

You will indemnify us against all losses, liabilities, costs and expenses reasonably suffered or incurred by us, all damages awarded against us under any judgment by a court of competent jurisdiction and all settlements sums paid by us as a result of any settlement agreed by us arising out or in connection with:

any claim by any third party that the use of the website by you is defamatory, offensive or abusive, or of an obscene or pornographic nature, or is illegal or constitutes a breach of any applicable law, regulation or code of practice;

any fines or penalties imposed by any regulatory, advertising or trading body or authority in connection with the use of the website by you.


9.1. While we endeavour to ensure that this website is normally available 24 hours a day, we will not be liable if for any reason this website is unavailable at any time or for any period.

9.2. Access to this Website may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond our control.


10.1. The services provide by the website do not include the provision of computer or other necessary equipment to access the website. To use the website you will require internet connectivity and appropriate telecommunication links. We shall not be liable for any telephone or other costs that you may incur.
