Tannas Electronic Displays, which builds custom-sized LCD displays, was recently sold in a majority stock purchase to investors. Richard McCartney, of Scotts Valley, California, led the purchase and has been named as the new CEO and chairman by the new board of directors. Lawrence Tannas, company founder, will remain a member of the board and consultant to the company.
The company has been renamed Pixel Scientific. The headquarters have been moved from Orange, CA to Scotts Valley, CA.
