TSMC Sales Result 21/10/2016

TSMC saw profits up 28% to T$96.8 billion ($3.08 billion) on sales of T$260.4 billion ($8.2 billion), another quarterly record and also ahead of earlier guidance. TSMC said revenue for the first nine months of the year rose 7.1% to T$685.71 billion ($21.6 billion). It is widely believed that good sales to Apple for the iPhone 7 is a factor in the result. Q4 is likely to be ahead of Q3 and another record.
