Taiwan Makers Look to VR Market

Himax worked with Google on Google GlassWe hear that Himax and Etron Technology are looking to enter the virtual reality market. According to Asian sources, Etron has been working with customers to develop 3D-sensing ICs, and is ready to enter mass production. Himax is developing LCoS modules and related chip solutions for VR devices. The company apparently expects to ramp production in the second half of 2015.
