T-Mobile US Inc. reported Q3 net profit of $550 million, an increase of 50%, and record Q3 service revenue of $7.6 billion, which contributed to total Q3 turnover of $10.0 billion, up 8%. For the nine months there were profits of $1.8 billion, a leap of 71%, on sales which were up 9% to $22.4 billion from $20.6 billion. The company quoted net additions of 1.3 million in Q3, marking the 18th quarter in a row where additions were over 1 million. It commented that its service covers the whole country, including rural America.
