STMicroelectronics reported Q4 and full year financial results, with a $2 million net profit for the quarter. Turnover for the period was $1.67 billion. Full year 2015 net profit was $104 million. Turnover for that period was $6.9 billion. In addition to financial results, the company announced discontinuation of development of STB platforms, on account of poor market adoption and high R&D costs.
