Sky reports unaudited financial result for 9 months ending March 31, 2017 with group revenue of £9.6 billion ($7.5 billion), indicating an increase of 11% on a yearly basis. The group EBITDA was recorded at £1.5 billion ($1.2 billion) resulting in an EBITDA margin of 15.6%.
The financial results showed good sales growth across all geographic segments, especially Germany & Austria, which recorded an increase of 28% on a yearly basis. Sky currently has a total of 22,423,000 subscribers including 12,691,000 in the UK & Ireland, 4,930,000 in Germany & Austria and 4,802,000 in Italy.
