Sky Media Introduces Real-Time Advertising

The Sky Audio Visual Exchange can now give buyers of advertising the capability to make decisions in real-time on Sky’s owned and operated TV and VoD services. During the pilot phase, Omnicom bought advertising space on a number of Sky channels and Sky Media is now in active discussions with a number of other advertisers.

Sky partnered with Videology to build the Sky AVx programmatic ad system. This allows buyers to transact media purchases through a demand-side platform giving them more control of what advert a user sees at a given moment.
