ShowStoppers® @ IFA 2016 – the official press event of the global tradeshow that moves markets and inspires buyers – is setting new records for press attendance and companies exhibiting new technologies for work, home and play.
More than 500 journalists from around the world are already pre-registered to attend – one month ahead of the pace of registration for the year-earlier 2015 edition of the press event.
The number of Industry leaders, innovators and startups planning to introduce new gear, gadgets, tools, apps and devices at the 2016 event is already 30 percent ahead of the pace of the year-earlier event.
The official media showcase in Berlin during IFA, the ninth edition of the annual press event is set for Thursday, 1 Sept. 2016 – the evening before IFA opens for business; IFA runs 2-7 September in Berlin, Germany.

At the 2015 edition of the invitation-only press event, 800-plus journalists from more than 50 countries previewed news and new products from more than 70 companies.
