At Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2017, Sharp will launch a unique 70” display for video walls, 10” larger than its current largest video-wall display and 15” larger than the mainstream industry standard. Aimed at luxury retailers who want to create maximum impact, a wall of four displays in a 4 x1 portrait configuration will welcome visitors to Sharp’s stand.
Sharp will show six new product ranges at ISE, some in new categories, demonstrating the rapid development of Sharp’s Visual Solutions business since Sharp’s alliance with Foxconn in April 2016. Half of Sharp’s stand will be devoted to interactive displays including a new BIG PAD, Sharp’s innovative interactive flat panel display for presentations and team work. The latest 80” BIG PAD features ‘optical bonding’ for a better viewing experience, and more precise touch. For the first time Sharp will also show a display for huddle spaces, with a new range of 40” interactive displays designed to help people share ideas during small informal meetings.
Other stand highlights include the launch of Sharp’s Mini OPS standard (Open Pluggable Specification) for its display screens. Three different expansion modules, based on Mini-OPS, easily and cost-effectively expand the function of the displays and give users more flexibility for signage and interaction.
