Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA), a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation (SEC), is proud to participate in the 2017 Digital Signage Expo (DSE) in Las Vegas, March 29-30, 2017. At booth #1207, Sharp will showcase its newly released professional AV models and highlight a number of new models that will be launching in the coming months to the theme #teamupwithsharp.

“With more than 20 new models launching in 2017, teaming up with Sharp is an easy decision,” said Gary Bailer, Director of Product Management, Information Display Products, Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America. “Now is the time to take advantage of our new technology and solutions that will be critical in a rapidly changing digital signage environment.”

Starting lineup: mounting versatility and open platform
Sharp’s lineup includes the new, slim, narrow-bezel-width PN-R professional displays, which can be installed face up, face down, tilted forward or backward, and which won “Best of Show” when previewed at InfoComm 2016. The displays were the first to offer the new Intel® Mini Open Pluggable Specification (Mini OPS) technology, supporting HDBaseT™, wireless and computing modules. Additionally, a preview of the 70 and 60-inch Class PN-R series will be available. These are the largest in the series and will be launching beginning the spring of 2017. Sharp will also show the new PN-Y series, which has many of the same features as the PN-R models, but is featured at a more economical price point.

Everyone loves an expansion team
Sharp has recently expanded its award-winning AQUOS BOARD® interactive display line with two additional models – the 80” Class (80” diagonal) PN-C805B and 70” Class (69.5” diagonal) PN-C705B. These are the first in the series to boast direct bonding technology, along with Sharp Pen-on-Paper™ technology, which makes the touchscreen feel and respond virtually as naturally as a pen writing on paper. Sharp will also demonstrate its new 40” Class (39.5” diagonal) PN-L401C AQUOS BOARD interactive display that incorporates capacitive touch technology. The PN-L401C is the first in Sharp’s smaller-format interactive line, and is ideal for both interactive signage and collaborative environments. It is also the first AQUOS BOARD display model to incorporate Intel Mini OPS technology, and can be configured in either landscape, portrait or face-up orientation.

Big league size for minor league budgets
Sharp’s newly launched 90” Class (90 1/64” diagonal) PN-LE901 commercial LCD display combines full-HD image quality and a stylish, thin profile with a built-in tuner for the ultimate viewing experience. Business owners can easily manage the functionality of the PN-LE901 commercial LCD display due to its many user-friendly features. This includes a powerful RS-232C command set, which permits flexible remote control capabilities from connected devices.

Impressive video wall to show all the action
Also at DSE 2017, Sharp will display a preview of the world’s largest 70″ Class ultra-thin-bezel video wall monitor, scheduled for launch this fall. When displayed in a 1×3 array, it yields a 119″ diagonal show of brilliance without inducing the dreaded bezel crosshair.

Visitors to booth #1207 will also see first-hand the benefits of the Strategic Alliance Resource (STAR) program, an exclusive program for third-party products and services that complement Sharp’s professional AV products. Additionally, visitors can find information on the Sharp Pro AV Reseller Program, which helps Sharp professional display dealers, integrators and consultants increase their sales opportunities by allowing them to purchase from any Sharp authorized dealer.
