What They Say
We get a lot of news of LED installations and tend not to use them, but one from Absen caught our attention because of the scale. A transport hub in Shanghai, China has installed 1800m² of LED walls. There is a 700 m² main display with 40 further displays in eight cubes. The hub has an average daily passenger flow of over 500,000 people.
Despite the scale of this new installation at OXO City, it merely serves as the first stage of a much grander project, with a further 4,200m² of LED panels to be added in the near future.
What We Think
It just shows that where you have a big enough audience, huge investments in displays can be justified. (BR)
