Sceptre’s E505BV-FMQR 49.5″ LCD TV is a new Roku Ready model, with an MHL port. It features a particularly high contrast ratio for a TV, as well as a swivel base (+/- 15 deg ) and a parental control system. Additionally, the TV is Energy Star 6.1-certified and can show 3D content.
The E505BV-FMQR has 1920 x 1080 resolution, with a 5,000:1 contrast ratio, 176 deg viewing angles and 8.5ms (grey-to-grey) response time. Refresh rate is 60Hz, with 250 cd/m² of brightness.
ATSC and NTSC tuners are built in, with two 10W speakers. It features HDMI (x3, one with MHL), component, composite, VGA and USB 2.0 ports.
Several retailers are selling Sceptre’s new TV in the USA now. Prices start at $460.
