Samsung to Commercialise Rollable Batteries

Samsung has shown a rollable battery, for wearables, at the Interbattery Technology Exhibition trade show in Korea. The work of researchers at the Samsung Technology Centre, the company said that the battery will be mass-produced ‘within the next few years’. Yields are still being improved. LG was also at the show, showing its ‘stepped’, curved and bendable ‘cable’ batteries
