Following a period of lower demand and utilisation, Samsung’s A4 OLED facility may resume production in October because the company has secured a new Chinese buyer for its flexible OLED touch screens, according to ET News. Apparently, demand had dropped to such a low level that the 6G facility was more-or-less shut down. If there’s any truth to these reports, the company will have a lot of work to do in order to restart operations in time to resume production in October.
Samsung’s A4 facility has a monthly production capacity of 30,000 panels.
