Last week, Samsung held its Unpacked 2018 event, in which it revealed its Galaxy Home smart speaker, the new Galaxy Note 9 phablet and the Galaxy Watch.
However, not much was said about the watch’s display. Thankfully, the company wasted no time in releasing a more detailed write-up of the device’s specs. So, we now know that the Galaxy Watch features a 360 × 360 circular Super AMOLED display. The screen size in the 42 mm model is 1.2″, while the 46 mm version features a slightly larger display, at 1.3″.
All Galaxy Watches are powered by Samsung’s Exynos 9110 processor, while memory options differ between Bluetooth-only and LTE versions: the Bluetooth-only model incorporates 768MB of RAM while the cellular version is boosted to 1.5GB. Both include 4GB internal storage (we assume the operating system takes up some of that space). The Galaxy Watch will also continue to use the Tizen operating system seen in most of the Samsung Gear range.
