Taiwanese sources say that Samsung has increased TV panel orders to Chinese and Taiwanese makers, including CSOT, BOE, AUO and Innolux. The company is mainly purchasing 39.5″, 48″, 50″, 55″ and 65″ units. Many are expected to be UltraHD panels and used in units released in Q2’15. Sources said that Samsung aims to raise its TV sales from 50 million in 2014 to 60 million this year. 33 million TV panels are expected to be purchased from Taiwanese and Chinese companies in 2015. LG aims to raise TV sales from 32 million to 40 million this year.
