Samsung Electronics has announced the launch of its new limited edition porcelain blue bezel for its lifestyle TV: The Frame. The bezel is available on Samsung.com.
The snap on bezel has been designed by Dutch designers Scholten & Baijings to inject a chic twist to the aesthetic of the television. This perfectly encapsulates the vision of The Frame television itself which, when powered off transforms into an exquisite piece of art that can be personalised to synchronise with your décor.
SCHOLTEN & BAIJINGS said: “We are delighted to have collaborated with Samsung to widen the offering for The Frame TV. Once we saw the TV in action, we felt inspired to design the porcelain blue bezel and craft a series of artworks for the Samsung Art Store. What we love most about The Frame, is the opportunity it gives for the consumer to be creative – from the screen transforming into selected art work when on standby to the personalisation element through bezel selection.”
Three bespoke artworks from Scholten & Baijings will also be available on Samsung Art Store titled ‘Bright Extraordinary’, ‘Warm Extraordinary’ and ‘Colourful’. Users can sign up to the Art Store on a monthly subscription for £3.99, or make one-off purchases for £14.99 per art work.
Prices for the new bezel vary per size: £175 (43’’), £199 (55’) and £229.95 (65’’) and are available on Samsung’s online store for the 43’’, 55’’ and 65’’ Frame TV’s.
