Samsung has announced two new tablets in their Galaxy Tab A series – the Galaxy Tab A9 and the larger Galaxy Tab A9+. The tablets will be available starting October 23rd in select markets.
The Galaxy Tab A9 has an 8.7-inch display while the A9+ has an 11-inch display. The A9+ also features a 90Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and gaming. Both tablets are powered by a quad-speaker system with Dolby Atmos for immersive audio.
For connectivity, the A9+ supports 5G networks. The A9 connects via LTE. Both tablets feature unibody metal designs.
Samsung states the tablets offer strong performance through the largest memory and storage capacity available in a Galaxy Tab A device. The A9+ also provides desktop-like multitasking capabilities through Samsung DeX and multi-active window support.
