Samsung Galaxy Note 9 to Release Earlier Than Usual?

Samsung may be gearing up to launch the Galaxy Note 9 ahead of its usual schedule, according to a report from The Investor. The publication has reason to believe that the company will begin production of OLED panels for the device this month, a whole two months earlier than normal, meaning that the Note 9 could be released in July or August, ahead of this year’s new iPhones, which tend to appear in September.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is expected to have a 6.38″ OLED display, slightly larger than that of the Note 8 but slightly smaller than the 6.46″ iPhone rumoured for release this year. (Apple to Release the Biggest, Most Expensive iPhone This Year?)

The successor to the Galaxy Note 8 could be with us sooner than we think.
