Samsung’s forthcoming phablet, the Galaxy Note 9, has been formally approved by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The device is still shrouded in mystery, with very few details regarding its specifications having leaked thus far.
We are none the wiser following the Note 9’s FCC approval, except that it will feature LTE and wireless charging technology. Other rumours suggest that the device will feature a 6.38″ display, a Snapdragon 845 chipset and up to 512GB of internal storage, alongside a new S Pen stylus.
Some reports suggest that the device will launch in late August. However, conflicting reports of a potential issue regarding the thickness of its cover glass indicate that the Note 9 could be delayed by several months.
