Samsung has announced two new curved monitors for games players in the run up to IFA, as well as highlighting the 24″ CFG70 announced at Gamescom in Cologne (High Refresh and Fast Response on Samsung’s Gaming Monitor). The additional models are a 27″ version of the CFG70 model and the CF791 which is a 34″ unit. All the models will feature quantum dot tecnology to boost sRGB gamut coverage to 125% and are cadmium free.
The CF791 has 100Hz refresh and a tight 1500mm radius curve and support for FreeSync. Resolution is 3440 x 1440 and response time is quoted at 4ms. There are dual 7W speakers (with a headphone out jack) and dual HDMI, Displayport and 1 up/2 down USB. Pricing is $999 in the US. The 27″ CFG70 costs $499.
