A new Roku Stick has been announced, with a quad-core processor and up to eight times the power of its predecessor. WiFi has been updated to dual-band MIMO and the operating ysstem is Roku OS 7.1. One of the new features is a Private Listening mode, where audio is played from a mobile device’s headphone jack rather than the main display speakers. The new Streaming Stick costs $50 and can be pre-ordered now.
