In its first quarter as a public company, Roku Inc. announced Q3 net losses of $46.2 million, up from losses of $12.7 million in the same quarter last year, on revenue which increased 40% to $124.8 million from $89.1 million. For the nine months there were losses of $70.5 million, compared with losses of $46.0 million, on turnover of $324.5 million, up from $251.3 million. Its Q3 gross profit rose 92% to $49.9 million and the company said that the quarter was an outstanding one – active accounts up 48% YoY to 16.7 million, streaming hours up 58% to 3.8 billion and ARPU up 13.7% to $12.68.
