ET Mag says that Chinese touch panel makers will ship more than 179.5 million units in Q3’15: a 15.5% QoQ rise. Shipments will consist of 153 million units for smartphones (up 15.6%), 25.26 million for tablets (up 15.9%) and 1.23 million for notebooks (down 7.6%). The increase in smartphone and tablet shipments will be due to higher demand from Chinese smartphone and white box tablet vendors, said sources.
