Registration is open for CES AsiaTM 2016 which runs May 11-13, 2016 in Shanghai, China and will occupy expanded space in the Shanghai New International Exhibition Centre (SNIEC). Owned and produced by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA)™ – formerly the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)® – and co-produced by Intex Shanghai.

“On the heels of another successful CES in Las Vegas last week, we have high expectations for this second CES Asia,” said Karen Chupka, senior vice president, CES and corporate business strategy. “With a show floor bigger than 2015, we look forward to seeing the growth of CES Asia in only its second year. This May, industry professionals from China and across Asia will see the full breadth and depth of innovation in the Asian marketplace.”

The Inaugural CES Asia held in May, 2015 exceeded all expectations, with 28,682 attendees and 212 exhibiting companies. CTA expects more than 300 exhibiting companies and more than 30,000 attendees at this year’s show. To date, more than 175 exhibitors from 13 countries are confirmed. Notable exhibitors include 3M, Audio-Technica, Beltronics, Cobra Electronics, Continental Automotive Holding, Escort, Gibson Brands, IBM, Monster, NavInfo, Pioneer, Qihoo 360 Technology, SAIC-GM/OnStar, Scosche, Speck, Twitter and Voxx.

Additionally, CES Asia will provide dynamic conference programming led by highly sought after experts across various technology industries to highlight the innovative global tech industry. Programming will be broken into more than 50 conference sessions, keynotes and industry mover addresses.

CES Asia serves as the premier event for the Asian consumer technology market for global brands and budding startups, alike. It provides a platform for key global businesses to grow and reinforce their brands by showcasing the latest products and technologies to industry executives, foreign buyers, media and a limited number of consumers from China. CTA also recently announced Startup Park, a new exhibit area dedicated to showcase the latest startup innovation. Modeled after the Eureka ParkTM Marketplace at CES, Startup Park will feature new products, services and ideas from startups seeking exposure in the rapidly growing Asian marketplace.

Media Partners of CES Asia include SMG and ZOL. Special co-organizers for CES Asia include the Chinese Electronic Chamber of Commerce (CECC) and the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Product (CCCME)
