RBL Media Will Take Over Leipzig DOOH From Next Year

From the summer of 2019, RBL Media will take charge of digitising Leipzig, Germany, installing a range of digital street furniture and energy-efficient passenger shelters over a 15-year period, according to Invidis.

JCDecaux is the city’s current digital outdoor marketing partner. Under the new arrangement, JCD will dismantle the DOOH advertising equipment currently installed throughout the city.

Then, from July 2019, a total of 900 passenger shelters will be constructed by RBL, 200 more than are currently in operation in Leipzig. The project is part of a larger ecological city concept, which incorporates the use of green energy, electric vehicles and tree planting.

Leipzig joins German cities Aachen and Erfurt in RBL Media’s digital-out-of-home advertising portfolio.
