Queues Form Early at Apple’s New York Store

Apple’s much anticipated media event is not scheduled to take place until 9th September and no-one can be sure what the company will be announcing, but that hasn’t deterred some Apple fans from camping outside the flagship store on Fifth Avenue in New York City. One couple claimed to have been waiting since 31st August, determined not only to be the first in the queue, but also to beat the current wait-record which stands at 18 days. Rumours suggest that the actual new phones won’t appear until the end of month, so the fans might have a few more weeks to endure camping outside the store.
