Quanta Ready to Handle Apple Watch Demand

Quanta has commented on the rumours that Apple is considering outsourcing Apple Watch production to other companies (WSJ Confirms Taptic Engine Limiting Watch Supply). Vice chairman CC Leung has said that production is ‘no longer a challenge’. Leung added that labour shortages over the Chinese New Year period limited ‘client’s’ shipments, but the company now has sufficient capacity to handle all orders (Leung would not name the client or product, but did say that the device is unlike the smartwatches Quanta has produced before).
