Qualcomm has confirmed that it is developing a reference design for an UltraHD dongle, using its own Snapdragon 800 chipset (Qualcomm Hopes to Grow Content Availability With Dongle). The stick appears to use Android and support LTE Broadcast. It will also be able to use 5GHz frequencies to create a localised LTE area, increasing the bandwidth capacity of the 4G network to stream UltraHD content.
