PTAB to Review Patent at the Centre of $45 Million HTC Lawsuit

The US Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) has granted a request from HTC, allowing the company to review the validity of a VR technology patent which is currently the focus of a $45 million infringement lawsuit. The board has indicated that, of HTC’s multiple appeals against the litigation, at least one of them is likely to succeed.
