PMA Research has posted their top five projectors for May for the US in a number of categories.
Mainstream projectors for AV and IT distributors has Epson on top with a trio of models, which are the BrightLink 695Wi, PowerLite X27and PowerLite 98H, coming in first, fourth and fifth, respectively. InFocus landed the number two spot with the IN2124x. ViewSonic was third with the PJD5155.
The 4,000+ lumen projector for AV dealers and integrators has Hitachi on top with the CP-WU5505. Hitachi also claimed the fourth spot with theCP-X5022WN. Epson had two projectors in the list with the BrightLink 697Ui and the PowerLite 2250U coming in second and fifth, respectively. Panasonic was third with the PT-RZ570W.
The home entertainment projectors for retailers and web resellers has Optoma with three top-selling models in the top five with the HD142X, GT1080 and HD27 coming in first, third and fifth, respectively. BenQ’s HT2050 took the second spot, and ViewSonic came fourth with the PJD7828HDL.
