Peratech’s QTC Enables Joysticks on a Smartphone Case

Peratech has worked with a company called Supenta, to create a smartphone case with a built-in game controller. Peratech’s Quantum Tunnelling Composite pressure-sensing technology is used in the Flitchio case; rather than using game controls on-screen, which obscures the action, Flitchio features two shoulder buttons and two thin joysticks on the rear. Amir Shadmand, CEO of Supenta, said that the QTC technology enabled a thin and design – the case is powered wirelessly, through the smartphone’s NFC antenna. Initially available for Samsung’s S6 and S6 Edge, new models will be launched in the future. Prices will start at £35 ($55) ex VAT.
