Annual worldwide unit sales of streaming media devices will grow from 30 million in 2013 to 86 million in 2019, says Parks Associates.
Last year, 13% of US broadband households purchased a media streaming device, according to the firm; this boosted adoption to nearly 30%.
Parks also predicted that more than 330 million UltraHD TVs will be sold globally by 2019, an increase from 2 million in 2013.
