AU Optronics reported October turnover of NTD30.4 billion ($966 million), up 4% YoY, resulting in year-to-date revenue of NTD267 billion ($8.5 billion), down 12.5%. Large panel shipments fell 5% MoM to 9.4 million, while small and medium shipments dropped 11% to 11.6 million.
Hannstar saw its second highest monthly sales of NTD3.2 billion ($101 million), a rise of 141% YoY, giving NTD17.8 billion ($562 million) for the year to date, up 21%. The company shipped 41.8 million small to medium panels, up 32% MoM, and 194,000 large panels, down 4% MoM. Turnover improved partly due to a volume increase in higher revenue phone panels.
Innolux saw October sales of NTD28.1 billion ($888 million), down 5% YoY. There were shipments of 9.7 million large panels, a fall of 6% MoM, and 18.7 million small and medium panels, down 1.5%.
