Innolux saw its May turnover rise 25% YoY to NTD28.1 billion ($933.7 million). This resulted in year to date revenue of NTD142.5 billion ($4.7 billion), a jump of 43%. During the month, the company shipped 9.63 million large panels, up 1.4% MoM, and 18.3 million small and medium panels, down 0.6% MoM.
Hannstar reported sales of NTD1.63 billion ($54 million) for May, up 14% YoY, bring year-to-date turnover to NTD9.33 billion ($309 million), an increase of 50%. There were May shipments of 30.23 million small and medium panels, up 0.5% MoM, and 299,000 large panels, an increase of 194%. the company commented that smartphones account for 60% of revenue currently, with automotive displays providing 10%.
