Panasonic Corporation reported results for the six month period ending September 30, 2015, with net profit of JP¥ of 48.11 billion ($397 million), a 37% increase YoY from JP¥ 35 billion ($288 million). Turnover for the same period stayed flat at JP¥ 3.76 trillion ($31 billion), compared to JP¥3.72 trillion ($30.67 billion) for the previous year’s period. The appliances segment, which includes TV sales, saw a 2% decline YoY to JP¥ 1.17 trillion ($9.65 billion), as sales in China dropped further.
