Panasonic Assists in Combating Californian Sun

CommCinema, an American company, has created a permanent outdoor display near the University of Southern California that, unusually, uses a DLP projector rather than LEDs. As well as bright sunlight, the south-facing display has to combat reflected light from the surrounding buildings. The company eventually chose to use a Supernova Infinity screen from DNP, tilted at -5°. A Panasonic PT-DW11K, projecting from the front, provides an image.
