Gartner Says Worldwide PC Shipments Declined 9.5% in Q2 2015

Worldwide PC shipments totaled 68.4 million units in the second quarter of 2015, a 9.5 percent decline from the second quarter of 2014, according to preliminary results by Gartner, Inc. Meizu Increases Shipments 540%

China’s Meizu shipped 8.9 million smartphones in the first half of 2015, it has announced: a 540% YoY rise. Chinese media said that the company’s low-cost Meilan brand (targeting sub-CNY1,000 ($160) phones) has helped it to increase shipments. Meizu is said to be targeting 20 million unit shipments this year.
